Cessna Aircraft Co. and its holding company on Monday paid $1.6 million to settle wrongful death lawsuits in the cases of Gov. Mel Carnahan, his son and a top aide. After a short hearing, Jackson County Circuit Judge Charles E. Atwell approved the settlements in the Oct. 16, 2000, deaths. Gov.
