Insurance To Pay $100,000 To Ex-Commissioner’s Estate Terri Gilbert’s tangled legal affairs in the wake of her acquittal in June of murdering her estranged husband, County Commissioner Eugene Gilbert, moved closer to a resolution Wednesday. A wrongful-death suit brought against the 51-year-old Terri Gilbert was settled Wednesday when her insurance company agreed to pay $100,000 to Eugene Gilbert’s estate to settle any and all claims arising from his death, said Albuquerque attorney P.
