Ravenna- A Portage County judge has thrown out the remaining court claims swirling around the 2006 death of the late Al Lerner’s granddaughter, bringing momentary calm to the complex, drawn-out legal battle. Common Pleas Judge John Enlow on Friday dismissed the remaining claims that Nancy Lerner Fisher had against her former husband, William Beck. The case began July 9, 2006, when Emma Beck, Fisher’s 6-year-old daughter, drowned after she lost control of her go-cart on her mother’s 300-acre Mantua estate. |
