A judge recently appointed a lawyer for the young daughter of a New Jersey dentist who Ford Motor Company believes killed his first wife. U.S. Magistrate Joel B. Rosen appointed Warren Faulk to protect the interests of Alix Thomas, 5, the daughter of Cape May County dentist Dr. Eric Thomas and the late Tracy Thomas. Besides her father, Alix is the only beneficiary of her mother’s estate. Dr. Thomas, 35, filed a wrongful death suit in 1999 claiming a faulty air bag in their Ford Explorer was responsible for the 1997 death of his 37-year-old wife Tracy.
