Nov. 10–The family of a man who died in January after sheriff’s deputies stunned him multiple times with a Taser gun has filed a wrongful death and civil rights lawsuit against Monterey County, the Sheriff’s Office and the manufacturer of the controversial guns. The lawsuit also alleges sheriff’s deputies beat Jaime Teran Coronel before shooting him with the stun gun.
